Being creative again ;)

Hey guys,

You might sit in front of the computer now and you are whispering: Not again! We’ve got enough to know about how funny it is to make things on your own instead of buying them! Well, this time might be more interesting for you, because it doesn’t take a lot of time and I’ll tell you how it works exactly, so it’s up to you if you want to be more creative then needed 😀

That’s how you do „Bath balls“ (the tiny things you put inside the water while you’re taking a bath :D):

  • 200g bicarbonate of soda
  • 100g citrit acid
  • 50g starch powder
  • 2 big spoons of milk powder
  • 1 little spoon of honey or icing sugar
  • 100ml cooking oil
  • 20 drops perfume oil
  • food coloring

At first, you mix all solid ingredients. After that, you add all liquid things. Mix it again. If it’s to solid, add some oil. If it’s to liquid, add some starch powder. The last step: Form some balls out of it and let them dry for a week.

That’s it! As you might know:

-> You don’t have to use plastic/ No pollution

->Natural ingredients

->No child labor

->It doesen’t need to be tested on animals

->It’s cheap and saves time

->No greenhouse gas emission during the production

=> You can have a bath with less worries about the environment. (Don’t forget that having a shower saves more water!)

Enjoy it!!!

Making Christmas cards

Hey everyone 😀

We’ve just written our last exam this year and now it’s time to get ready for Christmas! There are only 6 days left 😀 !

It’s time to decorate and to buy Christmas presents and what would be more ecofriendly than making it on your own? Furthermore, it’s more valuable than any Christmas present you could buy!

So I told myself: Get up! Enjoy Christmas! 😀 And I can tell you it makes even more fun if you know that you do something good for the environment! (We used less plastic, the production didn’t emit much greenhouse gases, …)

So, I met my friends and see what happened:

Well, I have to admit that I didn’t have art as a school subject anymore 😀

I hope you like the idea.

Little hint: Listening to Christmas music during the production makes you feel lik the time stopped for a while…

Homemade soap

We’ve just finished our handmade soap in the „Chio-AG“ of our school.

->We didn’t used much plastic.

->It didn’t „travel“ around the world. So we almost didn’t emit any greenhouse gases.

-> We didn’t need to test the soap on poor animals.

=> It’s more ecofriendly than every soap you could buy!

And guess what! It’s quite simple to produce it. Everything you need is available on the Internet! And it’s real fun 😀 So get up and try it on your own. I promise you won’t waste your time! What to do with so much soap? It’s a great and personal Christmas present! See, you saved more time than you spent 😀

All in all, we produced ecofriendly Christmas presents!
